KYLIE REUTER was born in St. Louis, Missouri, works out of Chicago, but most notably, was conceived on a business trip to Hawaii. As a kid, her extra curricular passions were many, however, at 13, in dramatic haze, she declared to her soccer couch that she was quitting soccer and becoming an actress. An excuse to stop running laps? Maybe. A chance to follow her dreams? Surely. In St. Louis she participated in school productions, community theatre, and played trumpet for the school jazz band. At 18, she moved to Chicago to attend Columbia College Chicago. While at school she often was cast as the old-woman-comic-relief type, but being in films allowed her to explore roles such as- sad lesbian, scary monster, and Russian janitor.
Kylie, with her BFA in Musical Theatre and a Playwriting Minor, is ready to (as her grandpa tells her) "work until you die." In her free time you can find her thrifting, listening to records, or making conversations with strangers in the streets of Chicago.
